Designed and implemented a comprehensive educational outreach program for a Professional Regional Theatre, including outreach designed for students age 12-18, University of Arkansas students, adults, seniors and public school teachers through an extensive professional development program   Duties include collaboration with teachers and principals, creation of curriculum, creation of project budgets, training of teaching artists, and the conceptualization and execution of special projects, camps and ongoing classes.

Mentored Master of Fine Arts in Directing Candidates.

Taught required courses to upper-level undergraduate drama majors and graduate students: Directing I, Theatre History I (Origins of Drama through Restoration) and Theatre History II (Restoration through current era) as well an introductory theatre courses for non-majors.  Responsible for creation of syllabus, lecturing, classroom management and the evaluation of student academic performance.  Representational commitee work includes:  Undergrad advising, Scholarship Committee, Curriculum Commitee, Recrutiment Commitee, Living Learning Community Commitee

2006-2008

HEAD OF DRAMA FACULTY
ARKANSAS GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL

Taught Area I Arts (Drama), creating a curriculum of rigorous and challenging pre-professional training appropriate to 16-17 year olds that would challenge the students to examine the way that interacted with the written dramatic text as well as fostering the creation of an ensemble centered on trust and collaboration.

2006-2009

EVENT DIRECTOR
FIRST NIGHT FAYETTEVILLE

Responsible for execution of a large scale community festival that included a parade, four hours of programming on nine stages and a fireworks display: Duties included creation and maintenance of artist and outreach databases, artist negotiations, program development, development of marketing materials, creation of event/logistics script, strategic planning, box office and volunteer management, and day of event production.

2005-2006

FAYETTEVILLE ARTS FESTIVAL

Provided support for all areas of the implementation of the 2005 Fayetteville Arts Festival:  Duties included creation and maintenance of artist and outreach databases, artist negotiations, program development, development of marketing materials, creation of event/logistics script, strategic planning, box office and volunteer management.

2001-2004

GRADUATE ASSISTANT
UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS

Responsible for all aspects of running a successful box office for a five show main-stage season as well as a two show summer season, Supervised work study students, Generated daily, weekly and production revenue reports, Managed all publicity for the University Theatre including sponsorship agreements, ads, press releases, photo shoots and public relations for the department.  Managed Studio 404, the studio rehearsal and performance venue on campus.  Assisted faculty members in teaching a variety of courses to undergraduate students, often taking over the primary leadership role and evaluating student academic performance.

1998-2001

GENERAL MANAGER
WRITERS THEATRE CHICAGO, IL

Managed the day-to-day operations of a Tier III Equity Theatre company.  Responsible for multiple aspects of running the business affairs including cash management, payroll, overseeing supplies, acting as Actor’s Equity liaison, contracting talent, publicity, supervising the box office, program production, maintaining the mailing list, processing donations, coordinating volunteers, communication with the board of directors and maintaining the master calendar.
